What power do you think women have?
Women have always done incredible things – and history is written by men – but more and more the changes that we make and the power that we have is being recognised. Women working together can change the world. Often our work is considered behind-the-scenes, but that is where things change.
What hopes do you have for the future?
I have a lot of hope for Syrian women, and that’s why I support LWF. I can see that, when given the opportunity to support their family and educate their children, these women do an incredible job under very difficult circumstances. I feel good about helping to improve their lives just a little bit.
